At TheGiftio, we strive to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase. If you encounter an issue with your order, please review our return and refund guidelines below.
Order Modifications or Cancellations
You may cancel or modify your order within 4 hours of placing it. After this period, the order is locked for processing and cannot be changed or canceled. To request modifications, please contact sales@thegiftio.com with your order details. Modifications may include:
- Changes in size, color, or style.
- Shipping address updates.
- Adjustments to product quantity.
Returns for Faulty Items
We accept returns if the item is faulty due to our error (wrong item type, size, color, or damaged upon arrival).
Eligibility:
- The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with proof of purchase.
- Returns must be requested within 30 days from the delivery date.
Returns Due to Customer Preferences
We understand that sometimes customers may change their minds or accidentally order the wrong item. While we strive to provide accurate product descriptions and sizing guides, we generally do not accept returns for reasons such as selecting the wrong size, color, or simply changing your preference after the purchase.
Exceptions & Considerations:
In certain cases, we may accept returns on a discretionary basis. If approved, the return may be subject to a restocking fee or a partial refund to cover handling and processing costs.
To avoid such issues, we encourage customers to carefully review product details, sizing charts, and customization options before placing an order. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact our support team before completing your purchase.
Important Return Guidelines
Return Address – Do not send returns to the sender's address. We will provide the correct return location upon request.
Item Condition – Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and with original tags or packaging.
Filing a Claim – To file a claim for a faulty item, please email sales@thegiftio.com with:
- Order number.
- Video/photo proof of the issue.
- Clear description of the problem.
- If related to printing issues, include a photo with a measuring tape/ruler to show placement or size errors.
- Your decision: Replacement or Refund.
Our support team will review your claim and, if eligible, will send a replacement at no cost or issue a full refund.
Replacements & Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection. If approved, we will process a replacement or refund within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.
Please check with your bank before reaching out if there is a delay in seeing the refund. The return policy lasts 30 days from the delivery date. Refunds are not available after this period.
Lost Packages
A package is considered lost if there are no tracking updates for:
- 15 business days (U.S. orders).
- 21 business days (International orders). If your package is lost and not marked as delivered: We will cover reprinting and reshipping.
If your package is marked as delivered but not received:
- Contact your local carrier and file a non-receipt case.
- Email us the case number.
- If unresolved within 15 business days, we will offer reshipping or a refund.
Incorrect or Missing Address
If your package is returned due to an incorrect or missing address, we offer two solutions:
- Reshipment to the correct address (customer covers shipping fees).
- Partial refund (excluding shipping costs).
Custom Products Are Non-Returnable
At TheGiftio, all custom-made and personalized products are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded, except in cases of:
- Manufacturing defects (misprints, incorrect engraving, low-quality printing).
- Wrong item received (incorrect design, size, or customization).
Before Placing Your Order:
Double-check all customization details (names, dates, spelling, colors, etc.). Once an order is placed, custom details cannot be changed after the 4-hour modification window.
If you receive a faulty custom product, please contact us at sales@thegiftio.com with:
- Order number.
- Photos/videos of the issue.
- Description of the defect.
We will review your claim and provide a replacement or refund if eligible.
